How to get a real estate licence in Alberta

Follow the first steps to begin your licensing path with confidence.

1. Determine your eligibility

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be able to lawfully study and work in Canada
  • Be able to provide specific government-issued identification
  • Have a minimum of Canadian high school education or equivalent
  • Prove your English language skills

Register with RECA

Create your myRECA account and complete the eligibility process through RECA before continuing with enrolment.

Go to RECA

2. Once you have received eligibility approval
from RECA, fill out our enrolment form

Complete the form to move forward with your registration and begin the next stage of the process.

The CON ID # comes in an email with subject - RECA has completed your Education Eligibility" from RECA
