You must meet the eligibility requirements for a licence through RECA. Set up your RECA account and get a CON-ID, then complete course registration through AREA.
All licensees start with Fundamentals of Real Estate. AREA recommends completing your course, which is 125 hours, within 90 days. From the time you indicate you are ready to take the RECA examination, you have 90 days and two chances to pass.
You must complete at least one practice course and pass its examination. Once you have passed at least one practice examination, you need to get a police check for RECA and become licensed through brokerage affiliation.
