Choose a brokerage

Choosing the right brokerage is the last step in getting your real estate licence. It’s also the first strategic business decision you’ll need to make to launch your new career

Consider what you want in a brokerage. Is mentorship and training important to you? Do you want a physical office to go to or an online structure? What business culture makes you thrive? Interview brokers to find the one whose offerings align with your needs and expectations. While fees matter, don’t make your decision based on fees alone. Find out what value they offer for the fees they charge.

It’s expensive and inconvenient to change brokerages, so interview as many as you need to find the right fit for you.
